Adware is designed to display pop up advertisements and other types of ads on your computer without your knowledge in most cases, and spyware and adware removers must be implemented to get rid of it.

Viruses and spyware are different and must be removed using different tactics. Viruses can be detected through the use of a virus scanning software and many times this software is also equipped with the necessary tools to remove the virus.

Spyware is also detected and removed the same way, but it is not designed to pick up on viruses present on the computer and vice versa. If you suspect that you have spyware on your computer, run a spyware scan and then implement spyware removal. From there, make sure that you have some type of spyware filter on your PC to prevent further infection.
